Features to know about

Haul Gear and Bikes with Confidence: 2" Class III Receiver

This Curt trailer hitch receiver gives you the versatility of a 2" x 2" opening for towing small trailers, carrying cargo trays, or mounting bike racks. With a 3,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 300 lbs maximum tongue weight, it’s made for everyday hauling jobs. When used with weight distribution, it handles up to 5,000 lbs GTW and 500 lbs TW for added stability on longer trips. The square-tube design keeps everything solid and steady whether you’re pulling a small camper or loading up bikes for the weekend.

Quick Bolt-On Install: No Welding Required

You don’t need a lift or a welder to install this hitch. It’s built for simple bolt-on installation directly to the frame, using included hardware and standard tools. Precision, robotic welding ensures each attachment point lines up cleanly, so you can get it mounted right in your driveway without frustration.

Built to Last: Powder Coated Steel Resists Rust

The fully welded steel construction is tough enough for years of towing and cargo use. A gloss black powder coat finish over a protective base coat shields it from corrosion and road grime, keeping it looking sharp while standing up to the elements.

Ready for Everyday Use: Complete Kit with Lifetime Technical Support

Each hitch comes with a complete hardware kit and installation instructions so you can get right to work. It’s designed for long-term reliability, from towing small trailers to carrying bikes or cargo carriers day after day.

Easy to install, just followed the video that was on the website. 20 minutes to install once the vehicle was up on stands and the tools were gathered.

by:

I installed your hitch on my 05 Nissan Quest and it fit perfectly. An excellent product.

by:

Awesome company ! Easy website to navigate with precise info regarding my specific vehicle. Loved the videos or descriptions associated with each parts installation ! Makes it even easier.
Thank guys!

by:

Worked like a charm and custom fit perfectly and does not hang down below the back bumper. This was on my 2004 Nissan Quest van, already with low ground clearance.

by:

My product arrived when promised and in excellent condition. To the point that I have since also ordered the wiring harness to support my towing needs.

by:

The product was perfect great quality and installation was absolutely flawless. Shipping was excellent and I will definitely be referring you all to all of my friends.

by:

Awesome awesome... Love how they let you choose your make and model shipping was fast wasn't expecting it this early. The wording harness I bought wow simple plug n play no cutting splicing needed local shop here wanted 464 dollars for the hitch and wiring I did it for [$$$] no sweat. Highly recommend etrailer

by:

Very happy with this hitch , real easy installation. It is made with heavy duty materials and real good coating (not like others) and l know for sure that it will last forever.

by:

Just as Promised, Fits great and easy to installed. The only problem was shipping...Box had holes and parts were missing, no big deal had to replace items..didn't bother calling company as it would take time to replace items and I wanted to install hitch the day it arrived.
Maybe they should box item better.

by:

Bent upon receiving but still installed okay. Very nice hitch.

Working out well . No problems.

I ordered a hitch and wiring harness for my 2009 Nissan Quest. The product and pricing were excellent. The equipment shipped promptly and arrived a few days later. Customer service was also great. When I was installing the hitch, it didn't quite fit. I thought maybe I had received the wrong part, but after a quick call to customer service, I realized what was wrong and was able to complete the installation. Thanks to Ashley. Highly recommend eTrailer

by:

Ordered on Sunday and received on Wednesday, thank you. Hitch is an exact fit. The installation instructions made installation a breeze.

by:

It's a trailer hitch. Looks pretty heavy duty. I'll be hauling a 18' Ranger behind my Nissan Quest. If it falls off, I'll be the responsible party. Now that I've installed one, I don't think I could do it again in 25 or 50 minutes, especially if you count the wiring harness in the time required. I also learned how to rip the interior out of the rear of the van. Another learning experience with some collateral damage (nothing serious). And if anyone asks, one man can do it alone, on the ground, on the front drive. With only a few cuss words and a floor jack. jim

It has been an excellent experience! Pulled a old heavy trailer without any issue!

I purchased a Curt Hitch Item: C13563! After watching the video on how to install this hitch a friend and I installed the hitch on my 2008 Nissan Quest with no problem. It helped that we had ramps to back the rear end up on to give us plenty of room to work. It also helped to thread the bolts into the weld nuts after cleaning the weld nuts with WD-40 and a battery terminal wire brush before mounting the hitch. I would recommend this hitch to anyone with a vehicle it fits.

by:

Hitch appears to be well made. However, it was not packaged well.

by:

I have been very pleased with the two hitches And wiring assemblies I recently purchased and installed -- for a Subaru Forester and a Nissan Odyssey. The video instructions they provide are a great help and eliminate any vagueness from the written instructions provided. Their customer support has been terrific.

I have been so impressed that I convinced my neighbor to install a hitch and wiring from etrailer and I plan to purchase another hitch from them this fall.

by:

I was able to install the hitch by myself and it was no problem at all. The hitch fit right fight in and all the hardware came with the hitch. We use the hitch for our power scooter lift.

by:

Package and delivery was great. All 6 bolts with washers were included. Construction was heavy duty, nice and clean. I watched the YouTube videos on how to install prior to starting. There were 2 videos, both good. I would have had several frustrating issues with out the videos.

The reason I give this product 4 out of 5 stars is because even with slotted holes for mounting, things didn't completely line up. Got all 3 started on one side but only 1 would easily thread on the other. We finally were able to get the last 2 started by using a crow bar for leverage. The last hole was about 1/2 inch off. The hitch completely covered the threaded frame hole prior to using crow bar.

Overall I'm happy with the hitch and would recommend it. We'll be using it to tow a small trailer behind our Nissan Quest minivan.

by:

It's a great product, but in my case I had issues with the bolts going in specially on the driver side. the threats on chassis bolts after been cleaned with a wire brush and WD-40 were very tight until one of them snap off. I was wondering if you have any alternative suggestion to properly secure the tow hitch. At the present moment I have it secure with four bolts two on each side of the hitch.

thank you for the follow up Sir..

Respectfully,

My recommendation for you would be to carefully drill out the existing broken off bolt or extract the existing broken bolt. Then you may need to re-tap the weldnut in the vehicle. You will need to choose the correct tap based on the bolt size. In this case the bolt is M12 -1.25 by 40, so you will want to choose a tap that matches this bolt. To start the tap you will want to have a couple of threads established so be careful when extracting the broken bolt so that you have some of the factory weldnut threads in place. You can then re-tap the weld nut as needed. We do not have the individual bolts available to replace your broken bolt, but you can locate one at your local hardware store, and we recommend matching the grade on the other bolts for your hitch.

Easy to jnstall

by:

perfect instructions. So good my wife wanted to do it and i only helped her clean the welded nuts in the frame and align the reciever . excellent shipping time.
could not ask for a more perfect install

by:

Minor nicks in the paint when arrived. I had to buy a can of spray paint to touch up.

by:

Installed on 07 Nissan Quest hitch and wiring very impressed. Quality and installation

  • Availability Of Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2009 Nissan Quest
For your 2009 Nissan Quest, we have the Curt # C13563 that is a confirmed fit. The Curt # C13563 is made in the USA so you know you will get a quality hitch, and in our experience the powder coat finish Curt uses holds up great. If you are planning on towing with your vehicle, you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 118469, and a ball mount. To determine the correct ball mount for your setup you will want to follow the steps in the included help article which goes over how to measure...

  • Items Needed for 2007 Nissan Quest Towing Pop-Up Camper Trailer
I am happy to help you with the few remaining towing items you'll need for your new pop-up camper that you will tow with your 2007 Nissan Quest. Since you already have your Curt Class III hitch # C13563 installed you'll just need wiring, a ball mount, hitch ball and some towing mirrors. If you are new to towing you might care to check out the linked articles on towing components and safe towing practices. You can use Tekonsha 4-pole wiring harness # 118469. • Mounting Hardware to Install Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2007 Nissan Quest
Even if you had the hardware you would not want to reuse it on a hitch. The replacement hardware kit you need is # RHK. You'll need to in put the model number of the hitch receiver you have and then choose the manufacturer from the drop down. This way you'll get the exact hardware that was included with the hitch originally. For your 2007 Nissan Quest the Curt # C13563 is confirmed to fit. If you're going to be towing with your Quest you'll also need a wiring harness. The Tekonsha...

  • Will a Trailer Hitch from a Nissan Quest Fit a 2009 Nissan Rogue
Curt trailer hitch # C13563 is designed to fit a 2004 to 2009 Nissan Quest. It will not fit the 2009 Nissan Rogue since they are built on different platforms. But we do have a nice selection of hitches for the 2009 Rogue. I recommend Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75902 for your Rogue. The Draw-Tite hitch offers a little more length at the receiver so the hitch is not as far under the vehicle compared to the other hitches for the Rogue. To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer...

  • Will the Trailer Hitch for a 2004 Nissan Quest Fit Other Vehicles
The trailer hitch receiver that we offer for a 2004 Nissan Quest is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13563. This Curt hitch will only fit years 2004 - 2009 of the Nissan Quest, nothing else. The Curt hitch, like most of our other trailer hitch receivers, is custom fit, so they only fit one model unless there is another model that shares the same chassis and even then, that is not always the case. If you can let me know what other Nissan vehicles you have, I would be glad to offer...

  • Will the Curt Trailer Hitch Part C13563 Fit on a 2006 Nissan Quest
The Class 3 Curt # C13563, and the one I recommend, is one of trailer hitches that fit your 2006 Nissan Quest. It has a maximum tongue weight of 300 pounds and 3,500 pound towing capacity. It's easy to install and no drilling is required. The custom wiring is the Tow Ready # 118469 and if you need a ball mount, I would get the ball mount kit # 989891 which includes 1-7/8 inch and 2-inch hitch balls, ball mount with 3/4 inch rise or 2-inch drop, pin and clip and a handy storage bag. • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver with 320lb+ Tongue Weight Rating for 2007 Nissan Quest
The Curt Trailer hitch receiver # C13563 you were looking at for your 2007 Nissan Quest only has a 300lb tongue weight rating which is not enough for your 250lb electric chair and 70lb carrier. Since this is the only hitch available, I instead recommend getting a small trailer to carry the wheelchair. You will need to check the tongue weight rating and towing capacity of your vehicle by checking its owner's manual and using the lower rating between the vehicle and trailer hitch receiver. Since...

I am including a link to the installation instructions on the hitch. For a 5-bike hitch bike rack the Thule Apex 5 Bike Rack, part # TH9026XT, is an excellent bike rack for your Nissan Quest. The Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier, item # TH911XT, is designed to work on the back of your 2009 Nissan Quest, and has a weight capacity of 105 lbs. Most adult bikes weigh no more that 35 lbs each as long as they are not downhill bikes or beach cruisers, and most child bikes weigh around 20 pounds. This leaves 15 lbs left over with 2 adult bikes and 1 child bike. A hitch and hitch bike rack is more convenient than a trunk mount style and will ease access to the rear of the vehicle when...

  • Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying Electric E-Bikes
The only bike racks we carry that can handle the weight of a 57 lb e-bike would be a hitch mounted option. Like you have noticed, the trunk mounted bike racks have lower capacities. The reason for this is that if you put too much weight on a trunk rack you would most likely damage the rear of a vehicle. So the only recommendation I can make starts with you getting a hitch. For that you would want the Curt Hitch part # C13563. Then for a platform bike rack specifically designed to work...

  • Solution for Trailer Hitch Install Bolts that Dont Want to Thread In
What you are experiencing is pretty common as the weld nuts on vehicles where hitches install get dirty easily which prevents the hitch hardware from threading in properly. I have included a few links on hitch installation tips, cleaning weld nuts, and a video on cleaning weld nuts for you but basically you need to clean the weld nuts and the correct hardware that you have will thread right in. In most cases going with an M12 X 1.25 thread tap is the easiest and most efficient solution.

  • Would the Kuat Transfer 3 Bike Rack Fit a 2008 Nissan Quest with 2 inch Hitch
Yes, the Kuat Transfer bike rack part # KU24FR would fit and work well on a 2 inch hitch like the # C13563 installed on your 2008 Nissan Quest minivan. You still might take one measurement to be absolutely certain. You will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper. As long as that distance is less than 6 inches this rack would fit and clear. From the install pics I have seen of this hitch on your vehicle there should be no problem,...

When we installed the Curt # C13563 on a 2006 Quest, we found that the hitch pin hole was recessed under the vehicle by 5-1/4 inches. Since the shank of the Yakima # Y02465 FullSwing is longer than that, at 6-1/2 inches the rack would fit fine. The 2006 and 2008 Nissan Quest both belong to the third generation of the vehicle so if the hitch was recessed by that amount on the 2006, there's an excellent chance that it'll be recessed by the same amount on your 2008 since there wasn't any substantial...
